This collection pairs tungsten carbide with genuine wood inlays — koa, ebony, rosewood, whiskey barrel oak, and a few less common options like deer antler. Every inlay here is real wood, sealed against moisture and wear, not a printed or laminated pattern made to look like it. That distinction matters more in this category than most, since printed wood-grain finishes are common across the market and not always disclosed clearly.

Why Tungsten Works Well as a Frame for Wood

Wood alone isn't a practical ring material — it's too soft to hold up to daily wear on its own. Setting it into tungsten carbide solves that: the tungsten frame absorbs the scratching and impact of everyday use, while the wood sits protected in a channel cut into the surface. You get the warmth and natural grain of real wood without the durability problems of a wood-only ring.

That said, the wood itself still needs a bit more care than the tungsten surrounding it. It's sealed to resist moisture, but prolonged water exposure or harsh chemicals can affect it over time in a way they wouldn't affect the tungsten carbide base. A soft cloth and avoiding extended water contact is generally enough to keep it looking right.
